Jean-François Coutelou farms 13 ha organically in Puimisson, Languedoc. Diverse grapes, minimal tilling, no sulfites or filtration. Native yeast fermentations, lunar bottling, and a 200-year-old solera yield vibrant, soulful wines and small-batch spirits.

FARMING: Certified Organic since 1987





WINEMAKING: Each parcel and grape variety is vinified separately using native yeasts, then blended based on vintage character. No filtration or added sulfites; bottling follows the lunar calendar. Mas Coutelou also maintains a solera system of over 50 barrels, some in continuous use for 200 years, producing remarkable wines and artisanal spirits.
