Fessina’s Etna DOC Rosso “Erse” blends Nerello Mascalese, Cappuccio & a touch of white grapes. From 1950s vines on Mt. Etna’s NE slopes, it’s bright, spicy, and elegant—wild berries, pepper, and soft tannins. A fresh, mineral snapshot of volcanic terroir.

VARIETAL: 90% Nerello Mascalese, 8% Nerello Cappuccio, 2% Minnella & Carricante

VINTAGE: 2024

FARMING: Sustainable, hand-harvested

WINEMAKING: Grapes from 1950s vines at 700 m elevation on Etna’s northeast slope. Gentle destemming and maceration (6–9 days) at 23–26°C. Fermented in stainless steel, aged 12 months in bottle. No heavy extraction—focused on freshness and balance.

TASTING NOTES: Light ruby color; aromas of wild blackberry, coriander, clove, and pink pepper. Silky tannins, mineral and spicy palate, vibrant and elegant with volcanic energy.

ABV: ~13.5%
